The Clinical Nurse in the Med/Surg ICU provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.

Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents care according to regulations.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.

Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.

Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.

Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.

Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.

1-3 years of RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
