Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit works night shifts, earning $72,072.00 – $74,229.26 annually, with an hourly rate of $34.65 – $35.69.
Provides compassionate care by actively listening and creating a caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses, applying sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely, following privacy policies, and ensuring confidentiality according to HIPAA and state regulations.
