This clinical Nurse role in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) involves providing compassionate patient care with kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
The role requires adherence to privacy laws, ensuring sensitive information is protected and accessed only as needed.
