Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) provides comprehensive patient care, coordinating and managing patient needs from admission to discharge, including during care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and tests, interpreting diagnostic results, and assessing patient responses.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, directs ancillary staff, and ensures compassionate, competent care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current NYS RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience, with at least 1 year in Telemetry or ICU.
Must demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement principles and comply with privacy regulations.
The role is a day shift with a salary range of $72,072 – $74,229.
