Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Pulmonary Renal Unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, and BLS certification.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
Salary ranges from $33.00/hr to $63.98/hr, with night shift hours.
The role involves handling sensitive patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
