Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Pulmonary Renal Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a patient care Plan.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Job requirements include a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, BLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Salary ranges from $33.00/hr to $63.98/hr.
