Job Description

This role is for a Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist working weekend days with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26 ($34.65 – $35.69/hour).

  • The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, coordinates, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
  • The nurse implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests; assesses patient needs and responses.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop patient’s Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
  • Maintains standards of professional nursing and ensures patient-centered, compassionate care.
  • This position may require access to sensitive information protected by privacy laws, with responsibilities to ensure confidentiality and proper information handling.
