This role is for a Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist working day shifts in the USA, with a salary range of $76,396.32 to $126,730.61.
The RN assesses, plans, coordinates, and manages patient care, ensuring smooth transitions and discharge readiness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care in compliance with regulations.
Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, evaluates patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary/emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Requirements include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred experience as a PCA.
The unit is a 29-bed cardiac unit serving patients with various diagnoses, requiring telemetry monitoring post-procedures, with ages from 18 to over 100.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws.
