Job Description
This RN role in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborate with the team to develop and follow individualized care plans, supervise ancillary staff, and ensure quality patient care.
Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred prior experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
The 29-bed unit serves adult patients with cardiac conditions post-procedures, requiring telemetry monitoring.
Salary ranges from approximately $76,400 to $126,700, with an hourly rate of $34.65 to $35.69.
The role involves handling sensitive patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
