Job Description
This position is for a Night Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist department, with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26 and an hourly rate of $34.65 – $35.69.
Provides patient assessment, care planning, and management during hospitalization, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Coordinates and implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care per regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Collaborates with the team to develop and guide individualized care plans, directing ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
Serves a diverse patient population in a 29-bed unit, monitoring cardiac patients post-procedures, aged 18 to 100+.
The role involves maintaining patient safety, quality care, and protecting sensitive information.
