The role is for a Night Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist unit, with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26.
The nurse assesses, plans, directs, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Provides coordinated, compassionate care to inpatient, outpatient, and community patients, including those receiving cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, evaluating diagnostic tests, and assessing patient needs.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, guides ancillary staff, and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred prior nursing assistance experience.
The unit is a 29-bed cardiac care unit serving a diverse patient population aged 18 to 100+ years, mainly requiring telemetry monitoring.
The role involves ensuring compliance with privacy and safety regulations.
