This Night shift Registered Nurse role in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care to promote recovery and smooth transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Provides primary and emergency care for various cardiac and medical conditions, collaborating with the care team to develop and follow plans of care.
Supervises ancillary staff, ensures quality standards, and maintains compliance with regulations.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred prior experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
The unit is a 29-bed telemetry unit caring for adult to geriatric patients with diverse cardiac diagnoses.
This role requires confidentiality, adherence to policies, and commitment to quality patient care.
