This Registered Nurse role in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care to ensure smooth transitions and discharge readiness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and execute patient care plans, directing ancillary staff and maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
The unit is a 29-bed facility serving adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical diagnoses, often requiring telemetry monitoring after cardiac procedures.
The position offers a night shift with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26.
