Job Description
This Night shift RN position in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care coordination.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop care plans, guides ancillary staff, and ensures high-quality, compassionate patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred prior experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
The 29-bed unit serves adults with cardiac and medical diagnoses, requiring telemetry monitoring after invasive procedures.
This role involves handling sensitive information with strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies.
