Job Description
This RN role in the Operating Room involves assessing, planning, coordinating, and managing surgical patient care throughout their stay, acting as a patient advocate during procedures.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, evaluating patient needs, applying sound nursing judgment, guiding staff, and ensuring compassionate, competent care.
Qualifications include a current NYS RN license, BLS certification, preferred 1-3 years surgical experience, and knowledge of quality improvement principles.
The facility features 35 advanced surgical suites with robotic technology, specialty rooms, hybrid suites with imaging, and complex procedures like spine and brain surgery.
Work shift is day, with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26.
The role requires adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards per HIPAA and related regulations.
