Job Description
This RN position in the Operating Room involves assessing, coordinating, and managing surgical patient care throughout their stay, acting as a patient advocate during procedures.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, evaluating patient needs, guiding staff, and ensuring compassionate, competent care.
Qualifications required are a current NYS RN license, BLS certification, and 1-3 years of surgical experience preferred.
Knowledge of quality improvement, sound nursing judgment, and team leadership are essential.
