Job Description
The Vascular Surgery Department seeks a Night Shift RN to care for patients with vascular and surgical conditions, often with multiple co-morbidities, aged 18-90+.
Provides direct patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting procedures.
Evaluates diagnostic tests and patient responses, applying sound nursing judgment for care management.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Salary ranges from $72,072 to $74,229.26, with a shift premium.
The role involves handling sensitive information per HIPAA and privacy standards.
