Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment for both primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, guiding ancillary staff and maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are required.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
