Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses, applying sound nursing judgment to manage care effectively.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of quality improvement principles and adherence to confidentiality and privacy regulations is essential. Salary range: $72,072 – $74,229.26. This role emphasizes kindness, active listening, and teamwork to support a caring environment.
