Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit provides compassionate care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop Plans of Care.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
