Job Description

The Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.

  • Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
  • Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans.
  • Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
    Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience.
    Strong communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of quality improvement are required.
