Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma-B3 department provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care.
Applies sound nursing judgment in managing care.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree, valid NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
