Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow patient care plans, directing ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
This role involves maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
