Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma-B3 department works weekends nights, providing compassionate patient care and collaborating with the team.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and tests, and documenting care.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound judgment in care decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
This role involves handling sensitive information with confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
