Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma unit works night shifts providing compassionate patient care and supporting families and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs, responds to care requirements, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience.
Excellent communication, organization, and knowledge of quality improvement are required.
