Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma-B3 department works weekend nights to provide compassionate patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, applying sound nursing judgment, delivering emergency and primary care, and collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential.
Must handle sensitive patient information responsibly, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
