Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Inpatient Rehab unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment in care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The role may require access to sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
