Job Description
The Inpatient Rehab RN provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests, documenting all procedures.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs and responses, and applies sound nursing judgment in care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are necessary.
The role may require access to sensitive information, with strict adherence to confidentiality policies.
