Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Hospitalist – E4 night shift role involves providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and document accordingly.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assess patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administer medications as prescribed and collaborate with the team to develop a patient care plan.
Guide ancillary staff and maintain nursing standards.
The role requires adherence to confidentiality and data protection policies, especially regarding sensitive health information.
