The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care following regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to create a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
The role requires ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws.
