Job Description

The Medical/Surgical Hospitalist – E4 role involves night shifts and offers a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26.

  • The clinical nurse creates a compassionate environment by demonstrating kindness and active listening, recognizing the value of each employee’s contributions.

  • Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care according to policies and regulations.

  • Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound judgment in care management.

  • Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.

  • Collaborates with the nursing team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards.

  • This role may require access to sensitive information protected by HIPAA and other regulations, with strict adherence to confidentiality policies.
