Job Description
This Clinical Nurse position in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department involves assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and evaluating patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care, collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care, and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
Preferred experience includes prior nursing assistance.
Must adhere to confidentiality standards and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Salary ranges from $72,072 to $74,229.
