Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care according to regulations.
They assess patient needs, interpret diagnostic tests, and use sound judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are required.
The role involves handling sensitive patient information with confidentiality and security.
