Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Maintains professional standards and documentation. Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of related clinical experience. Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential. The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
