Job Description
The RN in this Medical/Surgical Hospitalist role works night shifts, assessing and managing patient care throughout the episode of care, including transitions and discharge planning.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, providing primary and emergency care, and collaborating on care plans.
Qualifications required are a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Competencies include strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and quality improvement skills.
Hourly rate ranges from $34.65 to $35.69. The role involves handling sensitive protected health information with confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
