Job Description
This RN role in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and follow patient care plans, directing ancillary staff and ensuring quality standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Salary ranges from $72,072.00 to $74,229.26 per year, with an hourly rate of $34.65 to $35.69.
