Job Description
This RN position in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care during their hospital stay and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and evaluating patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care, collaborates with the care team to develop care plans, and supervises ancillary staff.
Requirements include a nursing degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Skills needed are excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
The hourly pay ranges from $34.65 to $35.69.
