Job Description
This RN role in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The hourly pay range is $34.65 – $35.69.
