Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Hospitalist RN provides assessment, coordination, and management of patient care throughout their stay, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions within the acute setting.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and evaluating patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; salary range is $72,072.00 – $74,229.26, with an hourly range of $34.65 – $35.69.
