Job Description
This RN position in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout hospitalization, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing tests and treatments, interpreting diagnostics, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and follow patient care plans, guides ancillary staff, and ensures high-quality, compassionate care.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The hourly pay range is $34.65 – $35.69.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely and adhering to confidentiality standards.
