Job Description
This RN position in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department involves assessing, planning, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing tests and procedures, evaluating diagnostic results, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, directs ancillary staff, and ensures quality patient care.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, valid NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The hourly pay ranges from $34.65 to $35.69.
