Job Description
The Clinical Nurse role in the Medical-Surgical department involves providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and tests, and documenting care according to regulations.
They assess patient needs, interpret diagnostic tests, and use sound judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering prescribed medications.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, while guiding ancillary staff and maintaining professional standards.
The position is night shift, with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26, and an hourly rate of $34.65 – $35.69.
The role requires handling sensitive information securely, respecting privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
