Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
Orders, interprets, and assesses diagnostic tests; assesses patient needs and responses.
Uses sound nursing judgment for care management, offers emergency and routine care, and collaborates on care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of quality improvement principles.
Position involves weekend and holiday shifts, with adherence to confidentiality and privacy policies.
