Job Description
The clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assess and evaluate patient needs, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the team to create individualized care plans.
Direct ancillary staff and maintain professional nursing standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
Position requires weekend and holiday shifts and adherence to confidentiality and privacy policies regarding sensitive information.
