Job Description
The clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care in Labor & Delivery, implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to create and follow a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
Must work weekends and holidays.
The role involves handling sensitive information per privacy regulations and supporting a caring, respectful environment.
