Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care.
The role involves directing ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards, and handling sensitive information securely.
