The nurse applies sound judgment in care management, offering primary and emergency treatment for injuries and illnesses.
They collaborate with the team to develop and follow patient care plans, supervise ancillary staff, and maintain professional standards.
The role involves ensuring compliance with regulations regarding sensitive information, including HIPAA, by protecting patient data and limiting access to those with a âneed to know.â
