Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, recognizing the value of each team member’s contribution.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as prescribed and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring compliance with privacy and security policies.
