Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care unit provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
Ensures standards of professional nursing are maintained.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
