The Clinical Nurse in Neuro Progressive Care provides compassionate patient care through kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop and implement a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role may involve handling sensitive information protected by privacy laws, ensuring access is based on a âneed to knowâ basis and information is adequately protected.
